The course aims to create professionals that are competent in reshaping and managing business models through green considerations. Many international alliances have launched green adoption in business and industry practices. Meanwhile, environmental sustainability in the contemporary business process has become significantly important. Proper green technology utilization as simple as using a video conference instead of a physical business trip can reduce energy consumption more than 50% and emails instead of postal mails can reduce greenhouse gases up to 98%. Competency in managing green technologies as business practices is the vital component of business branding that attracts financing and enhances organization competitiveness.

By completing this course the students will be able to:

  • formulate strategic solutions for decision-making in addressing sustainability issues
  • understand the importance of management information system in achieving sustainability
  • apprehend information system to environmental and economic problems
  • analyze empirical data to understand energy choices made by policy makers
  • define management of organizational so that the objectives achieved
